Internet Community

What is an Internet community?

An Internet community is an online organization of people with similar interests or common goals. An Internet community is an online platform with special software that allows members to interact and communicate. Usually communities are established around a common theme.

What is the purpose of an Internet community?

The community theme is usually the basis of each online community. Usually, the community is created to help members exchange ideas about a particular theme, hobby or interest. Some communities, however, are established in order to help keep people connected. These communities allow people to communicate via forums, messages or chat.

What are the advantages of an Internet community?

The important advantage of an online Internet community is the bond that can be created among members. A major part of this includes the social contact and exchange of information that occurs in such a community. Members can communicate individually or in a group and share their experiences, thoughts or interests. This “community feeling” is even greater in virtual worlds or role playing communities where users with similar interests can come together.
